Scholar Badge Ceremony 2018

DPS RN Extension decided to spread the Christmas cheer by organizing the Scholar Badge ceremony along with Christmas celebrations on 26 th December,2018. The Chief Guest of the day was Ms Seema Kaur, Principal, Pacific World School Greater Noida. The day brought a lot of happiness to the young scholars who were recognized for the hard work they did throughout the academic session 2017-18 and had shown their mettle by topping their classes. The lighting of the Christmas candles set the mood for the joyous occasion. It was followed by Christmas carols sung spiritedly by the school choir. A live Christmas tableau was depicted on the stage by the primary students who looked very adorable as Mother Mary, Joseph and the Three Wise Men of the East. The Principal of the school, Ms Pallavi Upadhyaya welcomed the gathering and expressed her pride in the achievements of the young scholars. The Scholar Badge ceremony was attended by the proud parents who had come to acknowledge and applaud the efforts made by their wards. The Honourable Chief Guest Ms Seema Kaur and the Principal Ms Pallavi Upadhyaya gave away the Scholar Badges and the Scholar Blazers to the deserving scholars of classes 4 to 9. It was heartening to see that every class had numerous students who had excelled in academics. Even amongst them, three students stood out when they were awarded Scholar Blazers for having been conferred with Scholar Badges for the past three consecutive years for their excellent academic record. The Chief Guest Ms Seema Kaur in her speech, congratulated the students and told them that hard work always pays. She also said that life is not all about marks and achievements. Rather it is important to be a good and productive member of the human society. The day concluded with the dance performance by the students of the primary wing.
