The CPR and AED workshop organized by DPS Raj Nagar Extension in collaboration with the Siddhant Singh Cardiac Awareness Foundation was an exceptionally informative and practical event. This workshop was designed to equip teachers, staff, and even some support staff with life-saving skills, emphasizing the significance of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the proper use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in emergency scenarios. The workshop commenced with an in-depth presentation and discussions on recognizing cardiac arrest symptoms and the effective administration of CPR. Through hands-on practice sessions, attendees had the opportunity to build confidence in their ability to perform CPR and utilize AEDs, with instructors underscoring the pivotal role of early intervention in saving lives. The overall success of this workshop instilled a sense of preparedness and responsibility within the school community, arming participants with invaluable knowledge and skills that could prove pivotal during cardiac emergencies.
